This is the boy, Matthew Shepard. On October 7, 1998 Aaron McKinney and Russell Henderson lead him to a remote area east of Laramie where they demonstrated unimaginable acts of brutality . Matthew was tied to a split-rail fence where he was beaten and left to die in the cold of the night. Almost 18 hours later he was found by a cyclist who initially mistook him for a scarecrow. Matthew died on October 12 at 12:53 am at a hospital in Fort Collins, Colorado. MURDERED BECAUSE HE WAS GAY!!!

BADLUCK ANNOUNCMENT
To all members I (Rio) will be scheduling a grand group meeting on June 7 . The tentative meeting place will be at SM Megamall building A near the ice skating rink. Everyone should be there at 11:30 am. From there on I will be asking a member (Jida) to allow us to meet at her place as a temporary group HQ. We will be discussing important issues regarding our group like up-coming projects, tarpaulin/banner printing (designing) and a lot more important things. The group meeting will most likely be scheduled on a Saturday so that everyone will be available. Here, I will be screening out those who are no longer active or those who are not participating on group activities so please be advised.

After our first time selling at komikon at year 2007, we have concluded that our products are sell-able. All we need to do now is to further improve the quality of our works, produce comics and designs that are worthwhile with prices that are affordable.
Note: At the group meeting I will be collecting a start up fee for each member, this will be used as the start up funds for the group. Which will be used for photocopying of comics/art books, printing of comic/art book pages, bookmark, pin and key chain designs, lamination and miscellaneous expenses, I will be posting the possible break down of expenses per project so that there will be no question which regards to the fund collecting.

Our website by the way is now under construction, all thanks to those kind people who are helping us in the project. Upon completion of the site, I will be updating there regularly so please be guided.

Upcoming projects:
1. Pin Design Project
-We will be doing pin designs for the upcoming cons, our designs will feature famous and widely known animes and games such as Kingdom Hearts, Final Fantasy Series, Death Note, Katekyo Hitman Reborn.
-Members are not required to do this project, but only those who will be submitting designs will receive payments from the said designs. Example: you made a design and it sold 30 pieces, all the income from that 30 pieces minus the 10 % for the group funds will be yours. Collaborated designs will automatically be shared by the artists involved.
-The format for the buttons is yet to be finalized but all designs should be submitted at least with a size of 3.5 inches by 3.5 inches
-The design is completely up to you, who the characters in it, number of characters and how they interact with one another. Please be guided that the art should not go over the boundary of hentai or sex. Shounen-ai/Shoujo-ai is permissible.
- The design should be colored be it digitally or traditionally. If it is colored traditionally see to it that the quality of the pin design should be good.
-There is a limit to 5 designs per artist, a collab is equal to 1 design for each of you. Please stick to the themes stated above.
-The pin maker will be provided by Celery-chan or as we call her jay. The details about the instructions are still not clear but most likely I (Rio) will be the one to make the pin designs into pins along with jay.
-We will be selling the pins at a tentative price of 30 php per pin, price may change through time.

2. Bookmark Design Project

5. Comic/Collaboration Information
a. Individual Comic
-I need not post the requirements in order to start an individual comic for I have posted this a lot of times, but again I remind everyone that if you are interested to release a title under Bad Luck Please notify me first so that I may list and notify people, or updating our product list for those who are in charge of letting us sell in conventions.
-The sales will go directly to the main artist, especially to those who did an individual title, a person who did everything from drawing-writing and editing the story all the sales will be 100% theirs (of course minus the 10% for the group funds) If a collaboration was made please notify me for I will be handling the cash (Until I appoint someone to keep track of it.) Example: you made an individual title and we sold 10 copies for 45 php each, then the total sales (not yet the income) will be 450 minus the 10% and the expenses all that will be left are the income and the whole income will be yours. For collaborations the income will be divided between those involved.
-As for the production expenses we will be taking it from the group funds. If ever our group funds will not be able to cover it, I (Rio) will be the one who will temporarily shoulder it, but all expenses coming from me will be deducted from the sales. (The cash break down will be showed below)
b. Group Collaboration Titles
-Group collaboration titles are different from collaboration titles, mainly here; the whole group will be encouraged to contribute something to the title, be it a drawing, a comic or even a fanfic. And in a group collaborated title, all the sales and income will go directly to our group funds. So that we will be able to give back the money you gave us from the beginning.
c. Collaboration Titles
-In collaboration titles, you may work in groups to produce comics, illustration books, designs or whatever. In case of collaborations please notify me (Rio) immediately so that I may be able to know how to divide the sales and income. This is very important.

GENERAL NOTE: All of you know the basic format on how to make a comic title just please don’t forget that the pages should never go below 32 (including the front and back pages) and that the front and back page may or may not be colored depending on your preferences. Always remember to place atleast 1 filler page and an artist comments page, it will help in striking/filling up a page. Computer edited titles are preferred but traditional titles, likewise are accepted.

6. Cash Flow Break Down
a. Expenses per title:
- I will be using a traditional 32 page comic title with a colored front and back cover and all the rest will be toned. And we will be producing 50 copies (for it is the most efficient number so that left-overs may be sold again at other conventions)
Expenses:
Printing fee: 15 full page black and white print 7 php each.
Printing fee: 1 full page colored print 15 php
Color photocopying/printing: 50 colored both (Printing and Photocopying fee) 15 php each
Black and White Photocopying fee: 750 (15 pages multiplied by the number of copies, which is 50) black and white pages for .75 centavos each.
Prices: (All expected prices are worth 50 copies)

-We need to collect a start up group fund because in the upcoming toycon, we will be selling. And we will be needing cash to produce our comics and titles, the said convention is this june so we really need to rush things up. Break up of expenses:

-We are targeting to release all our titles along with the art book, the book marks, key chains and pins are also targeted to be released. Expense break down:

-The design has yet to be finished but we will be printing a tarpaulin for our group, displaying all our products and services. The usual price is 20 php per foot. Expense break down:

- People, we need to gather this much money in the time given to us, all the money that you will be contributing to the group will be returned to you which will be taken from the sales that we have made. We only need to collect this one time for we do not have a fund for our group, please be considerate when it comes to this fee collection thing. I know that it is hard to give money, but for the group we must. I will be tallying and recording those who will be paying for the group funds so that I will know who donated and how much I will be giving back in return.

7. Targeted Conventions
-Here is the list of conventions that we are targeting and that we already have a table:
a. Toy con on June 14-15 a Saturday and Sunday. We already have a booth here, sponsored by daMEAT and we need not pay any booth registration fee.
b. Yaoicon, sometime in September, the details have yet to be finalized but we will be joining other groups in a table. Currently there are 5 groups in the table. The registration fee for a table is 1000 php, dividing the fee by 5 groups we will be paying 200 php.
c. Komikon, I will again reserve a booth for us here. This is our main convention target where our products must be in their top condition here, it is usually held sometime during late October to mid November.

ok so I didn't delete my gallery, rather I moved it to scraps :3 thank you everyone for showing me your support .

As for the comic I'm making "The Path of Destiny" its almost complete. I've finished sketching the first 40 pages and I've already inked 20 pages of it...which I think is good...my deadlines on november...but I have 3 more doujins to do...(Katekyo Hitman Reborn, Tales of Symphonia and Kingdom Hearts) and an illustration book...entitled "Drown in the Music".

I said that my comic would be slightly bl but it turned out more of a fantasy one than of a bl one :3 lots of wings...shirtless people...flying...and punching (god I hated this part...hard to draw) so after I ink all the pages I'll be toning them next which is also a challenge for me..its like my laziest and most boring job....well but I guess its still part of it. If my progress continues along and I'll be able to finish it before october I will most definitely release it at komikon...for 50 php i think...(come on people..its 40 pages and the front and back page is colored) I think its reasonable...maybe 45php....but what the heck...
